Custom Domains

Use a custom domain to white‑label Pulse-hosted URLs (checkout and product pages).

Before you start

  • Custom domains work best with a subdomain like shop.yourdomain.com or billing.yourdomain.com.
  • Wildcard domains (like *.yourdomain.com) are not supported.
  1. Go to Settings → Custom Domains in Pulse Billing.
  2. Enter your domain (example: shop.yourdomain.com).
  3. In your DNS provider, create a CNAME record:
    • Name/Host: shop (or your chosen subdomain)
    • Value/Target: domains.pulse-billing.com
  4. Save the record.
  5. Back in Pulse Billing, click Verify.

Apex/root domain (optional)

Some DNS providers don’t allow a CNAME on the root/apex domain (like yourdomain.com). If your provider supports ALIAS/ANAME/DNS flattening, point the apex domain to:

  • domains.pulse-billing.com

Then click Verify in Settings → Custom Domains.

SSL certificates and activation time

SSL certificates are generated automatically. DNS propagation and certificate activation can take a few minutes.

Use Refresh status in Settings → Custom Domains to stay informed.

When your domain is active

When the domain shows as active, Pulse Billing can use https://yourdomain.com for hosted checkout/product page URLs instead of https://app.pulse-billing.com.
